We thank you for taking the time to visit our website and view what we are about in Ballinalard Stud.
We are first and foremost a family, who care deeply for our home, our land and our horses. We bring together years of experience working for the best of the best in the horse industry, while remaining exclusive and very intimate in our own Stud.
What we offer in Ballinalard Stud is very unique, a warm Irish welcome, a wealth of experience, excellent facilities, top class grassland all housed in the peace and tranquility of a South Tipperary country estate.

Our Home
The house is an early 18th Century Georgian house, typical of its time.
The lands are laid out in classical regular form and landscaped with now fully mature, beech and lime trees. The Russell family have being associated with Ballinalard since the early sixties and over the years have maintained and enhanced its facilities and amenities.
Tom and Hazel Russell returned to live at Ballinalard Stud twenty years ago and over that time have extensively developed it in to a top class, modern, secure, residential stud farm.
